I believe that elementary school aged children are not getting enough varied movement experiences and this is changing their physical and social emotional development during adolescents. The millennials are faced with different challenges that we as parents are not able to fully understand the impact of these technological changes. Children’s play is less physical and less integrative of the sences. This is resulting in adolescents who are less coordinated and who demonstrate less strength.
I enjoy developing interactive, fun and interesting video exercise programs for children. I incorporate concepts of growth for overall health and wellness and promote self-autonomy through the use of a self-monitoring checklist during the program. I like to incorporate parents and siblings too! In order to promote success and motivation, programs MUST be individualized to your child.
